Film & Television

See your project while it's still a document. Directors, writers and development teams use genvi to build look books, board out sequences and cut teasers, all with the same character and the same world holding steady from frame to frame.

For Directors, Development execs, Screenwriters, Storyboard artists and Production designers.

What you’ll make

Look books

Your palette, your lensing and your world, argued in pictures instead of adjectives.

Storyboard sequences

Shot-by-shot boards where the same face and the same set survive from panel to panel.

Teaser cuts

A minute of moving footage for the people who won't read the script.

Key art

The one-sheet at poster resolution, with the title treatment on its own layer.

How it works, step by step

Top to bottom, in the order you’d actually do it. Every model named here is one genvi really runs.

  1. 1Chat Studio

    Go looking for the world

Describe the film the way you'd pitch it out loud, then react to what comes back. Tone is so much easier to recognise than to specify, and right now reacting is free.

  2. 2Node Workflows

Pin down your character and your sets

Promote the frames you believe in to reference nodes, one for your lead and one for each standing set, then wire them into every shot. This is the bit that stops your protagonist growing a different face between panel four and panel five.

Gemini 2.5 Flash ImageFLUX.1 [dev] (Fal)
  3. 3Whiteboard

    Board the sequence out

Lay the panels across the infinite canvas in scene order with the beat written under each one. A board is a spatial thing, so building it somewhere spatial means you can see your act break instead of scrolling to it.

  4. 4Node Workflows

Move only the frames that need it

Animate the three or four boards carrying your tone, not all of them. A teaser wants motion where the audience is making up its mind, and stills everywhere else.

    Veo 3.1 LiteGrok Imagine Video
  5. 5Video Composer

    Cut the teaser

Put the clips and the stills on one timeline, lay the score and the voice-over under them, and export. A still held on a slow push cuts against moving footage far better than most people expect.

Questions people ask

Will the same character survive a whole sequence?

Only if the character goes in as an input rather than a description. Make them once, park that frame in a reference node, wire it into every shot. Re-typing a description of a face gives you a different person each time, no matter how carefully you word it.

Does this replace a storyboard artist?

No, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. It gets a sequence in front of people at the stage where there's no budget for an artist yet, and it lets you hand an artist a tone reference instead of a paragraph.

How long can a generated clip be?

Individual generations are short, seconds rather than minutes. You get length by cutting a few together in the Video Composer, which is also how you get rhythm, since one long take rarely has any.
